:::Older than a quarter of a century and starting the morning right!:::

This morning I woke up completely exhausted… I was trying to figure out why, when I suddenly realized that I had a really busy, AMAZING day yesterday!!!

Yesterday I turned 25!!!! Yes I did! I hit that quarter of a century marker. Now for those of you who have already hit this marker you’re probably rolling your eyes and thinking “You’re young!!! Stop complaining! Take advantage of this wonderful year!” And to you I would say, “I’m not complaining! I know that I am still young, and (Lord willing) still have a lot of years ahead of me. I am very excited to have turned 25! This is just one of those milestones that you only hit once, and it’s just very strange to be hitting it!”

I am extremely excited about this next year! The year of 25 will be an amazing one, I predict! And it will most likely not be amazing in the way I want it to be. But I believe in a God who is in control and has much better plans for me than I do for myself. So even if things are not as fantastical as I hope for (yes! fantastical is a word and I use it all the time!), it will be even more so because my God is in the year of 25 and He is the most amazing of all!!!

So what do I expect out of this year? These are some things I am looking forward too: (and these are not in any particular order)

1. My 2nd Anniversary!

2. Giving birth to my 1st Baby!!!!!

3. Being able to drink more caffeine and have a glass of wine AFTER the Baby is born!

So I guess there’s 25 things there….Any-who! That’s what I’m looking forward too!

This morning however, I am just remembering what a wonderful day I had yesterday celebrating my birthday! I still had to work, which most adults do. But I still found some time to do some maternity clothes shopping! And my mother got to come along! We had so much fun and definitely took advantage of Kohl’s 80%, 70% and 60% off racks!!! The best sales ever!!!! It makes you feel so good when see a savings of $250 at the check out counter when you only spent $60! Ah clearance! If only I could save that much at the grocery store every time, then I’d be a happy camper! Any-who, we had a fabulous time! I am now looking forward to Sunday when I get to celebrate with my family at Red Robbin! That’s right, I’m going to Red Robbin for my birthday dinner!

As much as I want it to be Sunday, there are still two days in this week left. Which is why this morning, after recovering from yesterday, I needed a little help. You gotta start off the morning right if you expect to get anything done the rest of the day. So this is how I do mornings!

My “Daily Bread” literal…..

And my “Daily Bread” Spiritual…..!

I hope you enjoy the year that you’re in and that you have things to look forward too!

And don’t forget to start your morning off just right!

Happy Friday!
